Increase your work-out performance significantly with Peppermint essential oil

Using essential oils to enhance athletic performance is not unheard of. Even professional athletes do it, or should I say especially professionals do it, and so should you. If you take Peppermint essential oil on your muscles or inhalte it, you are getting more air into your system by opening up the small pathways in your lungs and subsequently in your muscles. This leads to longer muscles contractions before you reach the lactic threshold, where you no longer have enough oxygen and your muscles will start to use anaerobic pathways and build up lactic acid.

If you have built up a lot of lactic acid, your muscles will quit working. Peppermint essential oil will make the lactic threshold go up. Put one drop of Peppermint oil into a glass of water and drink that before you work out and put some diluted peppermint oil on your muscles and your grip strength will go up about 34 %, your vertical jumping capacity will go up 7 % and the long, forward jumping will increase around 6 %, just because you just got more oxygen!
