Sexy & Comfy: European Cotton Champions Keep Things Natura

Health starts with the cloths that we wear, they are so close to our skin and since the skin is our largest organ, always eager to absorb, to eliminate, to balance, we cannot leave it in a dire environment by choosing bad material to wear.

For some time now the trend goes absolutely into the direction of functional wear, meaning plastic wear. The word „functional“ with regard to the new type of clothing suggests that the old way to make/wear clothing, namely that made from wool, cotton, silk, hemp etc. wasn’t functional and the way that it is promoted for use when doing all kinds of sports or outdoor activities makes us wonder what people did before they had all the plastic stuff on their skin? Supposedly they lived longer and healthier than we do nowadays.

Especially for women it is harmful to wear plastic clothing, the hormones and toxins it contains will heat up, mix with your sweat, which is already a detox product in itself and will then be re-absorbed into your body, adding to the load that most of our systems already bear. When there is no natural layer between your vagina for example and some kind of plastic fabric, then there is literally a cocktail of nasty things in direct contact with very sensitive and highly absorbant skin/mucous membranes. Add some rigorous activity and sweating to that unholy mix and the cocktail will ramp up, heat up and become even more effective in damaging your health.

All „functionality“ and optics aside: Plastic is NOT a wise choice and therefore I now like to show you four examples of European underwear manufacturers of different price ranges that show very clearly that it doesn’t have to be an „either/or“-decision when it comes to hot and healthy underwear. Vote with your money on future industries and choose wisely: Once they are gone, they are gone.

And don’t let yourself be fooled by how environment friendly that plastic has been collected/harvested/produced and how that makes it a good thing for us and planet earth: Plastic is plastic and should not be in direct contact with your skin. Try to avoid it as much as possible, it doesn’t make sense that we pay with our health to safe this planet, we should opt out of plastic instead of recycling it.

Here we go with the underwear companies:
